Chilling at university

Today, I brought my D7000 to the university.  I think of taking some stock photo around the campus during my free time.  Well... none of stock photo were taken.  I don't have time for that.  In fact, I do have time but my feeling didn't work smoothly today, so I decided to chilling at the university's resting area.  It too lazy for me just to hold my camera and shoot something.

But.... nothing is always something.

Let me try "Stop action" and "Panning" technique

Today I try some stop action and panning technique, due to the class assignment.  I must say that I am studying "Introduction to photography" as my free-elective subject at my college.  My teacher taught us about stop action and panning, he assign us a job to capture 3 photos which include this two technique and one for wide aperture.

I will show you only stop action and panning.

I ask one of my friend to be my model, he just got heart broken for about 3 days ago and I think he need to release some stress, lol.  I tell him that this job is going to be real tough and he said Okay!

It was a sunny day, we decide to select concrete yard in front of our college as our location, it wide, free and receive direct sunlight, it damn hot!

I use TV mode for today's task because I want to control speed shutter and let the camera do the rest.  ISO will be absolutely at 100.

I tell my friend where to run and he must run when I'm showing the signal.  Before we done our job, he have to run back and forward about 6-7 rounds.

After we done with panning, we start stop action technique.  My friend also have to jump, jump, jump and jump until I said he can stop.

I love him so much. he work very hard for me today, so I bought him a bottle of water.  That all he deserved. lol

Me, my blog, and my box...!

Hello! Firstly, let me introduce myself before we continue.  My name is "Na".  I know it quite hard to pronounce, so the better way is to call me "White".  I've been working at USA for about 3 months and people call me "White".  I live in Bangkok of Thailand.  Blah Blah.....  I started taking photo about 2 months ago and want to share with all of you.  I hope you like it and this is me.

I'm writing 2 blogs.  First, It's about micro stock technique, news, and some of case study I have learnt.  This blog is the second one.  I want this place to be open wide for everyone to comment on my photo, I will know what is good or bad, and improve myself.  Well...Thank you in advance.

I have Nikon D7000 with AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 ED VR II in my box.  I bring it everywhere as my sidekick.  In my opinion, this lens is not good for a specific purpose but it work fine for all round and that suit my personality.  I love to go to some new place and wonder what I'm going to see and capture, I feel like gambling.  Oh! I also have AF 50mm f/1.8D for portrait shot.
